NAMSAI, Oct 4: The second quarterly meeting for the year 2025-26 of the District Library Planning Committee (DLPC), Namsai, was held on Friday at the conference hall of the District Library under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Namsai.
The meeting was attended by the ADC Chongkham, CDPO Namsai, Assistant Engineer (PWD) Namsai, members of the DLPC, and heads of various educational institutions.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the academic progress, activities, and services being rendered by the District Library. Emphasis was laid on further strengthening and expanding library services to the interior pockets of the district to ensure greater accessibility for students and readers.
Later, the DC also inspected the newly constructed Namsai Adult Learning Centre (NALC) building and visited several ongoing civil work sites associated with library infrastructure development.
Expressing satisfaction over the steady progress and achievements made by the District Library, the DC appreciated the efforts of the officials and stakeholders involved. He encouraged the committee members to continue their collaborative efforts toward promoting a vibrant reading culture and enhancing library facilities across Namsai district.
