Minister Natung reviews implementation of key government schemes

BOMDILA, Oct 3: Mama Natung, Minister of Home, PHE & WS, Inter-State Border Affairs, and Guardian Minister of West Kameng, Bichom, and Tawang districts, chaired a coordination-cum-review meeting with the District Administration of West Kameng and Bichom at the DC’s Conference Hall in Bomdila today.

The meeting focused on reviewing the implementation of ongoing projects under various programmes, including the State Plan, Central Sector Schemes, and flagship initiatives of the Prime Minister and chief minister.

Special attention was given to the progress and coverage of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) schemes in West Kameng and Bichom districts.

Minister Natung urged all District Heads of Departments (DHODs) to ensure timely completion of all Government of India and State Government programmes.

He also emphasised the need to concentrate on the 25 Action Points forwarded by the State Government to ensure effective implementation and measurable progress.

The meeting discussed the selection of vibrant villages and underscored the significance of initiatives such as Cabinet Aapke Dwar, Seva Aapke Dwar, Viksit Arunachal, and other key schemes and programmes.

Departments presented updates and progress reports through PowerPoint presentations.

Deputy Commissioner Akriti Sagar assured the Minister that all projects are on schedule and instructed Heads of Departments to maintain accurate records and submit timely reports. Local MLAs, the DC of Bichom, and other officials also shared their inputs during the meeting.
