ZIRO, Nov 2: The annual art, literature, cultural, sports and games festival, Resonance’25, organised by Saint Claret College (Autonomous), Ziro concluded on Saturday. The week-long event, held from October 27, was jointly hosted by the college’s St Claret Art & Literary Endeavour (SCALE) and Sports and Games Association (SAGA), bringing students together in a celebration of creativity and sportsmanship.
Tasso Hinda, Managing Director of M/s PH Construction, attended the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest, alongside Taru Maji, Executive Engineer, PWD Ziro and Tasso Butung, District Agriculture Officer, Ziro as Guests of Honour.
Students participated in four teams: Namdapha, led by Mr Teri Taje and Ms Joram Akania; Dibang, led by Ms Yiyum Boje and Mr Diidong Kendo Yirang; Sessa, led by Ms Laa Puski and Mr Tokrik Panggeng; and Kamlang, led by Ms Higio Meykum and Mr Akor Modi.
After 41 events across arts, literature, culture, sports and indoor-outdoor games, Dibang emerged as the overall champion with 322 points, while Sessa finished as runners-up with 277 points. Judia Hrangkhawl of Dibang was named Individual Champion for his outstanding performance.
For the first time, the Mr & Ms Resonance pageant was held. Yiyum Boje of Dibang was crowned Ms. Resonance 2025 and Miyik Yirang of Dibang received the title of Mr Resonance 2025, impressing with their talent and grace.
The festival aimed to inspire creativity, encourage cultural exchange and provide a platform for students to showcase and nurture their talents.
