The programme was graced by Secretary (Rural Development & Panchayati Raj) Dr Sonal Swaroop, IAS, and saw the participation of a large number of villagers and officials.

According to an official statement, a total of 1,653 beneficiaries from Tutnu, Upper Kolam, Lower Kolam, Nogna, Thungjang, and Kuthung villages availed themselves of various services and schemes during the day-long camp.

The event was also attended by Assistant Commissioner-cum-I/c EAC Lazu, NL Naam, heads of departments, Panchayati Raj representatives, and other dignitaries.

Deputy Commissioner Tirap, Techu Aran, who attended the programme, described Seva Aapke Dwar as a true manifestation of “governance in action,” emphasizing that the initiative has significantly improved service delivery in remote and border areas.

“The programme reflects the government’s commitment to inclusive governance by ensuring that every citizen, regardless of geographical constraints, can access essential public services,” Aran said.

He also lauded Secretary Dr Sonal Swaroop for visiting one of the most remote corners of the district to oversee the camp and interact directly with villagers.

Highlighting the growing impact of the initiative, the Deputy Commissioner noted that the camps have enhanced public awareness about government welfare schemes and strengthened coordination among departments.

“We can see tangible results — more people are coming forward to avail benefits, and inter-departmental efficiency has reached new heights,” he added.

Addressing the gathering, Secretary (RD & PR) Dr Sonal Swaroop informed that since 2018, the State Government has been conducting Sarkar Aapke Dwar, Prashasan Aapke Dwar, and Seva Aapke Dwar camps across Arunachal Pradesh with the objective of delivering essential services and disseminating information about State and Central flagship programmes at the grassroots level.

During the camp, Dr Swaroop distributed agricultural and horticultural tools to farmers from the six participating villages.

She also visited departmental stalls and interacted with officials and villagers, advising officers to clearly explain the procedures, eligibility criteria, and objectives of various welfare schemes to ensure that the intended benefits reach the right people.

Expressing gratitude, Tutnu village chief Wangham Lowang thanked the District Administration for conducting the outreach camp in his village, noting that it had greatly benefited people from six neighbouring villages by saving them the hardship of travelling long distances to access government services.

The Seva Aapke Dwar initiative, a flagship programme of the State Government, continues to serve as a vital platform for bridging the gap between the administration and citizens, reaffirming the government’s commitment to responsive and inclusive governance.
