NAHARLAGUN, Aug 9: A voluntary blood donation camp organised at the Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) here recently drew an encouraging response from members of the public, with donors from diverse backgrounds stepping forward to contribute towards strengthening the state’s healthcare system.
According to an official statement, the initiative was spearheaded by the NYA Tani Foundation Society in collaboration with the Arunachal Married Couple Show team.
The organisers said the event was aimed at promoting the culture of voluntary blood donation and ensuring a steady supply of blood for patients in need.
The statement noted that the camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from individuals representing various sections of society, reflecting a growing awareness of the lifesaving importance of regular blood donation.
Organisers commended the commitment of all donors, describing their contributions as acts of selflessness that directly save lives and support emergency medical care in the state.
