11th Special Annual Conference of Asam Sahitya Sabha to be held in Barapujia

NAGAON, Sept 22: The forthcoming 11th Special Annual Conference of Assam Sahitya Sabha, slated for February 1 to 3, 2024, will be hosted at the renowned ‘Pacho Raja Samannya Kshetra’ located in the Morigaon District Sahitya Sabha and Barapujia (Shatdal) Branch. The event is set to be graced by esteemed guests.

In conjunction with the conference, a commemorative book titled ‘Barapujia’ is planned for publication. This memorial book will encompass a wide range of topics, including literature, art, film, history, politics, economics, science, theatre, literature, and anthropology.

The memorial book sub-committee is extending an invitation for quality articles on the aforementioned subjects, with a submission deadline of October 10, 2023. Authors interested in contributing are advised that articles should be composed on one side of A/4 paper and include clear data source references. Additionally, submitted articles should not have been previously published.

Accepted articles can be written in Assamese, English, or Hindi.
