JORHAT, July 17: Two children’s books titled ‘Hridoioloi Bulk Non Kon Kon Kobita’ and ‘Padoyere Byakoron Konmaniloi’, authored by Safali Baruah, were formally released at a function held at Radhakanta Handique Bhawan here on Thursday.
The books were jointly released by popular children’s writer Santanu Tamuli, also known as Mauchak Mama, and Jorhat Inspector of Schools Buli Gogoi Bhuyan.

The event was presided over by Subodh Bora, while Dr Basanta Goswami, President of Asam Sahitya Sabha, graced the occasion as chief guest.

Earlier, the ceremonial lamp-lighting was performed by Chandra Dutta, retired headmaster.
