20 Bn. CRPF, Don Bosco HS School Organises Tiranga Rally

DIPHU, Aug 13: 20 Bn. CRPF and Don Bosco HS School, Diphu took out a Tiranga road rally from their school premises as part of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ as part of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ marking the 75th year of India’s Independence.

More than 100 personnel from CRPF Unit with more than 2,000 school children and school faculty participated in the roadshow. The Don Bosco H.S. School also conducted mesmerising parade in campus. In the rally, Vande Mataram and other patriotic slogans were raised.

Unit Commandant and school principal urged them to take pride in the tricolor and display Tiranga in their homes. The school band party played patriotic tunes and a vibrant display filled the air with patriotism.

In Bokajan, member of Autonomous Council (MAC), Madhurjya Dhekiyal Phukon led the cleaning of Ru-Semson Sing Ingti statue along with Bokajan Municipal Board.

Floral tributes were paid and the statue was given a Karbi turban and the national flag was erected near the statue.

Bokajan Auto Association took out a rally with the Tiranga from their office to Sukhanjan Bharat Petroleum petrol pump.

On the other hand Bokajan Block Congress Committee took out a rally with the national flag as part of their ‘Azadi Ka Gaurav Yatra’ in Bokajan town. President of Karbi Anglong District Congress Committee, Sum Ronghang participated in the rally.
