NAGAON, Feb 1: The 56th Asto Prahar Maha Palnam Kirtan Mahotsav, organised by the Ekasaran Bhagawati Samaj, Assam is currently underway at the Acharya Ilaram Das Adhyatmik Kshetra Project. The six-day event, running from January 29 to February 3, aims to propagate the ideals of Ekasaran Naam Dharma as taught by Srimanta Sankaradeva, emphasising spiritual discipline, moral values and social harmony.
Devotees from across the state are participating in continuous naam-kirtan, naam-prasanga, religious discourses and cultural programs. The Mahotsav, part of the 56th Western Regional Conference of the Samaj, seeks to reinforce the spiritual legacy of Sankaradeva and Madhabdeva while fostering unity and ethical consciousness in society.
