The convention is being organised in association with the Udalguri District Committee, Tangla Anchalik Committee of ABSU and Primary BSS.
A preparatory meeting with the reception committee was held on Monday to review arrangements and finalise plans for the event.
Organisers said the convention is expected to be a historic milestone, with participation from 23 district committees, one state committee and nine university committees of ABSU.
Representatives from anchalik and college unit committees are also expected to attend in large numbers.
The multi-day programme will feature literary, sports and cultural competitions, along with seminars on Mission Quality Education and the Bodofa Mission for Sustainable Change.
An open session will be organised with the participation of several eminent dignitaries from the central and state levels.
The delegate session will deliberate on key issues concerning the Bodo community, including the implementation of the Bodo Peace Accord, education, identity and land rights, as well as youth empowerment and employment generation.
ABSU president Dipen Boro said a detailed discussion was held with the reception committee to ensure smooth conduct of the convention.
He said the event would witness participation from 23 districts, around 200 anchalik committees, one state committee, nine university committees and several college units.
