900 more members join UPPL in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR, April 8: Peoples cutting across communities and organisations are pouring to join and support the ruling UPPL party across the entire Bodoland region.

On Tuesday, nearly 900 new members from various political parties and organisations have joined the UPPL party at a party meeting held at the Harimu Fwthar, Dotma in Kokrajhar.

Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region and UPPL president, Assam cabinet minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma, UPPL general secretaries Raju Kumar Narzary, Madhab Chandra Chetry, several senior party leaders graced the event and accorded warm welcome and felicitation to the newly joined members from various political parties and organisations including BPF, Congress,GSP etc.

The peoples from various communities have extended their deep faith on UPPL party and it’s leaders as UPPL led BTR government has been working dedicatedly towards the welfare and development of the society since it’s inception in the region.

CEM of BTR Pramod Boro stated that the UPPL party has been receiving a good response from the citizens of the region and as a result people cutting across communities were inspired to join the UPPL.

“Nearly 900 leaders and supporters from various political parties joined the UPPL party today at Harimu Fwtar, Dotma, Kokrajhar — inspired by the visionary leadership of the UPPL party. The wave of change continues. Let’s Work together and join hands for better developments”, Boro said.
