Guwahati, Sept 29: Airports Authority of India, North East Region organised a free Covid (precautionary dose) vaccination camp under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ campaign at community centre, AAI residential colony, Guwahati on Thursday for the eligible employees, staff and their dependent family members.
This is the third free Covid vaccination camp at Community Centre which was commenced by Sanmukh Jugani, regional executive director, AAI in presence of heads of the Department and members of the recognised employees union.

The vaccination camp was organised in association with the Azara Primary Health Centre, Government of Assam, Guwahati.
A separate help desk, registration counters and waiting area was arranged for the employees at the vaccination camp for smooth flow of the event following all Covid related protocols.
Over 150 number of doses were administered to the employees including the contractual staff working at AAI’s Regional Headquarter, Guwahati and related stakeholders.
A general health check of the eligible individuals, who had registered themselves for the dose, was also carried out by the para medic staff. All the necessary documents and eligibility criteria like age, duration from the second dose etc. were checked before the vaccination.
The Human Resource Department led by Harish Mehta, jt. general manager, HR conducted the Covid vaccination camp wherein he thanked all the stakeholders and employees for their support.
