DIPHU, Sept 29: The Assam Hills Small Industry Corporation Limited (AHSIC Ltd.) will provide a rice mill at Phuloni to be set-up by Food Corporation of India (FCI).

Howraghat, Phuloni and Dokmoka are called as the granary of Karbi Anglong and keeping this in mind the AHSIC LTD has decided to open a rice mill in its own land at Phuloni which is to be operated by the FCI.

For setting-up of the rice mill, the site was inspected on Thursday by chairman, AHSIC Ltd., Bidyasing Engleng and was accompanied by chairman, FCI, Rajen Gohain; vice chairman, AHSIC Ltd., Arun Terang; managing director, AHSIC Ltd.,  Dhansing Lekthe.
