The manifesto of ASDC criticised the BJP for failing to create an Autonomous State in spite of its promises. It criticised the Congress and All Party Hills Leaders Conference (APHLC) for failing to unite to bring down the BJP. The ASDC will provide jobs while the BJP is selling them off, they alleged. The regional party opposes the alleged “Give and Take” policy of the BJP in solving the inter-state boundary problem.

ASDC is against Eco Sensitive Zone and Elephant Corridor and demands handing over of Diphu Medical College & Hospital to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council. ASDC promises to support the small and petty contractors who were destroyed by the BJP and Congress; to enhance the allowance to Sarkari Goanburas; they promise to provide allowance to traditional village headman; they also promise to implement MoU signed in 1995; they further promised to work for handing over of Law & Order and the DC office to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and will publish voters list and land pattas in English.
