Under the Assam Resilient Rural Bridges Program (ARRBP), ₹4,816.31 crore will fund 350 new climate-resilient bridges, widen 103 narrow RCC bridges, replace 694 damaged structures, and maintain 37 existing ones. The initiative aims to strengthen connectivity in flood-prone and remote areas.

Healthcare upgrades are set under the ₹4,287 crore Assam State Tertiary Healthcare Augmentation (ASTHA) Project, including a new campus for Gauhati Medical College and Hospital. The Cabinet also sanctioned ₹35 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the families of nine Tamil Nadu accident victims.

Orunodoi 3.0 will now reach 10,186 community cadres under the Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ASRLM), extending support to women and families across the state.

Urban traffic will ease in Silchar with a 3.462 km elevated corridor connecting Trunk Road near Capital Point to Rangirkhari Point (Phase-I), budgeted at ₹564.50 crore.
