Dhruba Prasad Baishya appointed as co-vice chairman

GUWAHATI, April 28: In a government notification dated April 27, 2022, the Assam government has appointed Ramen Deka, ex. MP as vice-chairman of State Innovation and Transformation Aayog (SITA), Assam in the rank and status of a cabinet minister to the government of Assam with immediate effect. Earlier Ramen Deka held the post of co-vice chairman and now he has been appointed as the vice-chairman. Meanwhile, the government also appointed Dhruba Prasad Baishya as co-vice chairman of SITA.
