GUWAHATI, Aug 14: Assam Governor Professor Jagdish Mukhi on Sunday announced the list of officers selected for the Chief Minister’s Special Service Medal in a crisis situation and Chief Minister’s Police Medal for outstanding service. The medals will be conferred on the 76th Independence Day celebration, here on Monday.
The Chief Minister’s Special Service Medal in a crisis situation (posthumously) will be conferred upon late SI (UB) Samujtal Kakati, Nagaon DEF and late UBC-405 Rajib Bordoloi, Nagaon DEF.
