Assam: Rail Engine, Car Collide At Chabua

DIBRUGARH, May 30: A railway engine collided with a Maruti Alto car in an unmanned railway level crossing at Kamargaon area of Chabua in Dibrugarh district on Monday. The car AS-06-AD-0911 was damaged in the collision but no one was injured in the incident. The driver of the car who had a narrow escape left the accident site soon after the mishap and has not been identified yet. Local people lifted the damaged car from the railway track even before railway officials and police could reach the spot.
