BISWANATH CHARIALI, Dec 8: The Lokra chapter of Assam Rifles observed the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 6 at Baptist Mission College in Sonitpur district. The event featured a collaboration between Assam Rifles and Gyan Jyoti Sonitpur Disabled People’s Organisation, aiming to inspire and empower individuals facing disabilities.

Through various activities and initiatives, the organisers sought to break down barriers, raise awareness, and celebrate the capabilities of those with disabilities.

Assam Rifles and Gyan Jyoti Sonitpur Disabled People’s Organisation exemplified the spirit of inclusivity, underlining the importance of unity and understanding in creating a world that embraces and uplifts every individual, regardless of their abilities. The event was attended by 156 people with full zeal and enthusiasm.
