Guwahati, March 27: Law enforcement in North Guwahati achieved a significant milestone by apprehending two notorious thieves following a dramatic chase in Rangia on Wednesday.
Led by officers from the North Guwahati Police, the operation successfully captured Rana Ali and Siddique Ali, who had been eluding authorities for some time due to their involvement in multiple robbery cases in the area.
The pursuit unfolded after the suspects attempted to escape following a robbery of a businessman in Sila village, North Guwahati. Along with the arrests, authorities confiscated a luxury vehicle and various incriminating materials, suggesting their participation in other unlawful activities.
Further efforts are underway to gather evidence and determine the extent of their criminal network.
This successful operation highlights the commitment and vigilance of law enforcement in combating crime and upholding public safety in Guwahati. However, it’s noted that three other thieves managed to evade capture, prompting ongoing investigations focused on locating them.
