GUWAHATI, Jan 27: Assam Women’s University, the premier institution dedicated to women’s empowerment in the region, has reached a significant milestone by securing accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
The university has been awarded a CGPA of 2.22 and a “B” Grade in its first cycle of accreditation. Sharing her feelings, Prof Ajanta Borgohain Rajkonwar, the vice-chancellor of AWU mentioned that this achievement reflected the collective effort and dedication of the AWU family.
“We are committed to ensure our standards of excellence and innovation in the field of education,” Rajkonwar said.
“The NAAC accreditation is a testament to our pursuit of institutional excellence. Achieving a ‘B’ grade with a CGPA of 2.22 underscores the hard work and vision of our team. I thank everyone who contributed to this success, and together we will strive to take AWU to greater heights,” Prashanta Puzari, the Director of IQAC of the university mentioned.
