GUWAHATI, April 1: The Department of Physics at Bahona College and Jagannath Barooah University, in collaboration with the Department of Physics, Tezpur University (ICARD), announced the joint organisation of an IUCAA-Sponsored Workshop on Astronomy and Astrophysics from April 24 to 26, 2025.
This program would feature a one-day workshop on Introductory Astronomy and Astrophysics at Bahona College on April 24, 2025, followed by a Two-Day Workshop on Applications of Quantum Mechanical Calculations in Observational Astronomy at Jagannath Barooah University from April 25 to 26, 2025.The registration deadline is April 10, 2025. Organized under the coordination of Prof. Ranjeev Mishra and Prof. Durgesh Tripathi (IUCAA, Pune), Dr. Ankur Gogoi (J.B. University), and Dr. Aishawnnya Sharma (Bahona College), the workshop will feature lectures from distinguished academicians in Astronomy and Astrophysics, including faculty members from IUCAA, Banaras Hindu University, Hyderabad University, Tezpur University, and Cotton University.
