SIVASAGAR, Feb 5: Sadou Asom Gramya Aushad Byobasayee Santha (All Assam Restricted Premises Pharmacy Association) Central Committee submitted a memorandum on Monday to Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare, and the Drug Controller General of India through district commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav appealing to them to grant licenses for keeping and sale of Schedule C1 drugs and also to impart training to the members of the Santha under the government Skill Development Programme. The Santha appeals to the concerned authority to allow them to stock and sell other drugs prescribed under government certification. The Gramya Aushadh Byobasayee Santha have been serving the rural people of the state by providing people some limited medicines besides maintaining their own families with a minimum margin of profits as per Drugs Acts & Rules under license granted in Form 20A and 21A. The memorandum was submitted by Ratul Sharma, president, and Shyamal Mohan, secretary, All Assam Restricted Premises Pharmacy Association.
