Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia inaugurates Guru Nanak Sports Academy in Guwahati

GUWAHATI, April 9: The Guru Nanak Trust proudly announced the inauguration of the Guru Nanak Sports Academy, a premier sports institute established within the campus of Guru Nanak Senior Secondary School, Guwahati. Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia inaugurated the academy.

Set up under the aegis of the Guru Nanak Trust, the Sports Academy aims to provide high-quality training in a wide range of sports disciplines including Karate, Cricket, Football, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball, Skating, Table Tennis, and many more. This initiative marks a significant step towards promoting sports and physical education among students.

During the inauguration, Sardar Bhupinder Pal Singh, Secretary of the institution, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Neha Dhupia for her presence and support. He shared his hopes that the Sports Academy would fulfill the long-cherished dreams of both students and guardians by bringing structured sports facilities to the school campus. He further mentioned that, for the time being, these facilities would be exclusively available to the students of Guru Nanak Senior Secondary School, Guwahati.

The establishment of the Guru Nanak Sports Academy reinforces the institution’s commitment to holistic student development and lays a strong foundation for nurturing future sports talent from the region.
