Bridge Inaugurated In Remote Part Of Dima Hasao District

HAFLONG, May 8: Reaching out to villages under three constituencies viz. Laisong, Hangrum and Jinam in Mahur Laisong road, a 50-meter span bridge over the Jinam river in Dima Hasao district was inaugurated on Saturday.

This bridge construction funded by RIDF-XXIV of NABARD under the Mahavir Lachit Chilarai Setu Nirman Abhiyan project is built at the cost Rs 2.92 crore.

Debolal Gorlosa, chief executive member, NC Hills Autonomous Council along with chairperson Ranu Langthasa and executive members Nipolal Hojai, Paudaming Nriame, Lalremsiama Darnei, Ramgalungbe Jeme and MACs Ngulminlal Leinthang and Noah Daime inaugurated the bridge. The inauguration program was attended by officers of council, gaonburas and villagers.
