According to officials, tens of thousands of people participated in the events, which sought to raise awareness about welfare schemes and the socio-economic development of the region’s citizens.

Pramod Boro, Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), attended the programmes as chief guest.

In his address, Boro highlighted the positive impact of various welfare schemes launched by the Centre, the Assam government, and the BTR administration. He said these schemes had contributed to significant socio-economic progress across the region.

“Building a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) is our shared goal. Over the past 4.5 years, Gossaigaon and the entire Bodoland region have witnessed a visible transformation. It’s heartening to see government benefits reaching the most underprivileged sections of society,” Boro said.
