Cachar Admin Opens Aadhaar Enrollment Centers

SILCHAR, May 11: In a bid to expedite the ongoing enrollment process involving people of the district, Cachar administration has set up 19 more Aadhaar centers in different parts of the district.

It needs to be mentioned that the people who have not yet been able to enroll themselves for Aadhaar cards can visit these centers.

These centres are Silchar Head Post Office, Udharbandh Sub Post Office, Silchar Tarapur Sub Post Office, Bashkandi, Pailapool, Assam University Sub Post Office, Lakhipur and Silchar Malugram Sub Post Office under Cachar Division Post Office.

It is worth mentioning that the Aadhaar enrollment facility can also be available at Udharbandh exchange as well as State Bank of India Silchar, Bank of India Silchar, Silchar Shillongpatti and Tarapur Branch Bank of India, Federal Bank and Indian Bank Silchar Branch.

In addition to that, Cachar administration has also opened up Aadhaar card enrollment centers at Indian Bank (Allahabad), Central Bank of India Hospital Road Branch, Bipin Chandra Pal Memorial Building, ground floor of Silchar Municipality office and Aadhaar Service Center at Birendra Bhavan at Silchar Vivekananda Road.
