Centenary of Indian Hockey: Competition Concluded in Tezpur

Tezpur, Nov 07: In keeping with the centenary celebrations of Indian hockey being observed across the nation, Tezpur also celebrated the 100 years of Indian hockey today. Starting from 10 a.m., a hockey competition was organized at the Eidgah Field in Tezpur in both boys’ and girls’ categories under the sub-junior and junior divisions.

A total of six teams participated in the tournament. The event was attended by players along with the Sports Officer of Sonitpur district, the President of Tezpur District Sports Association, and other officials.
