Central minister holds meeting from Guwahati; set to inspect projects in Dima Hasao

HAFLONG, March 5: The Minister of State for Home Affairs, GoI, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, on Thursday held a review meeting of various schemes and projects under different departments through video conference from Guwahati. Principal Secretary Partha Sarati Jahari, ACS made the power point presentation of all the departments during the VC. All the departmental heads, APEX bodies and representatives of various organisations were also present during the meeting.

An overall view of some key departments such as P& RD (Panchayat & Rural Development, Education, Health, Social Welfare, Agriculture departments, etc were done by the Minister.

It is to note that MoS Bandi Sanjay Kumar is scheduled to visit Dima Hasao on 6 March and review various projects physically in and around the district quarters. Inspection of some schemes such as PMGSY roads, Aganwadi centre, ME/ LP school, Fair Price shop, Health Sub-centre, JJM Project, PMAY-G etc. He is also scheduled to visit Civil Hospital, PM Shri Govt Girls’ Higher Secondary School. The Minister will also visit Sampardisa village and interact with the villagers and beneficiaries there.
