Ceremonial launching of Dima Hasao Tender

HAFLONG, Nov 18: Chief executive member of NCHAC, Debolal Gorlosa launched a new website www.dhtenders.com at the CEM conference hall, NCHAC, Haflong in presence of Ranu Langthasa, chairperson, NCHAC, executive members, NCHAC, principal secretary, Thai Tsho Daulagupu, NCHAC, ACS and principal secretary, Normal Sector, Mukut Kemprai and other council secretaries.
The portal was developed by the department of Information & Technology, NCHAC. Dima Hasao Tenders is an online portal for e-tender and e-procurement. The web portal will serve as the single platform for all the departments under the administrative control of North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council, Dima Hasao for creating, publishing, procurement, online bidding of tenders and participation in bidding for tenders by the bidders.
Few benefits of adopting Dima Hasao Tenders by the departments includes – reduced tender cycle-time, reduction in the labour-intensive task of receipt, recording and distribution of tender submissions, reduction of the paper trail on tendering exercises, reducing costs to both councils and suppliers, improved audit trail increasing integrity and transparency of the tendering process, improved quality of tender specification and supplier response, standardised formats and uniform tendering practice.
The benefits for the bidders include – increase visibility/less artificial barriers, greater degree of transparency, cycle time reduction in participation and award of contract, automatic SMS/Email alerts, 24X7 accessibility, location independent, online confirmation of tender submission.
