Chapel Inaugurated

DONGKAMUKAM, May 1: Rev Fr Januarious Sangma Provincial of Guwahati province on Sunday morning inaugurated Immaculate Chapel of Kulai B, under Satgaon Parish, West Karbi Anglong in presence of Parish Priest, Satgaon Parish, Fr CA John; Assistant Parish Priest, Fr Albert Thyrniang; Fr Robert Forstin and Sister Helen Barla and hundreds of attendees.

Later, the Provincial Sangma officiated the Holy Mass and said that building the Church is not much more important than building our hearts for Jesus.

He asked the Catholics to dedicate themselves to world peace by praying to God.

“With the passing of time, the faithful are losing interest in going to Church. Therefore, I urge the Christ believers to come forward and pray for peace around the world,” the Provincial Sangma said.
