BISWANATH CHARIALI, Jan 24: The Goodwill Gift packages sent by Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on the occasion of New Year were officially presented to government-recognised journalists of Biswanath district by District Commissioner Lakhinandan Saharia at a special function held at the conference room of the District Commissioner’s office on Saturday.
The District Commissioner handed over the gift packages and in a short speech, thanked the journalists for their cooperation at all times. Additional District Commissioner Asim Bargohain, Assistant Commissioner and District Information and Public Relations Officer-in-Charge Sunam Das, recognised journalists of the district and employees of the public relations department were also present. The proceedings were conducted by Ranjit Saikia.
