CM’s goodwill gifts delight journalists in Hojai

HOJAI, Feb 9: The goodwill gifts sent by chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to twenty-one recognised journalists of Hojai district were conferred to them on Thursday. In this connection, a ceremonial program was organised at the new conference hall of the District Commissioner’s Office under the aegis of the Office of the District Information and Public Relation Officer (DIPRO) in association with the district administration. The event was held under the management of DIPRO (i/c) Rakhishree Lakharu and chaired by district commissioner Lachit Kumar Das. Superintendent of police Sourabh Gupta, district election officer Krishan Jyoti Deka, ADC Sonakshree Bramha, Sneha Bharali, ALRS, circle officer, Doboka, Nilakhi Baishya, ACS, circle officer, Hojai, Aparupa Borgohain, ACS, circle-officer, Lanka also shared the dais. Attending the event, the journalists of the district, representing various media houses of the state under the district, who have been recognised by the Directorate of Information and Public Relation, received the gifts.
