DIPHU, Dec 30: All Party Hills Leaders Conference (APHLC) spokesperson, Angtong Ingti during a press meet said that a completion certificate has been obtained on constructing the Boys Hostel at Biswanath Chariali.
In a press conference held at the District Press Club of Karbi Anglong, Ingti said, “In a case of corruption, at Biswanath Sariali, where a Boys Hostel was to be constructed. There was an existing ground-floor building. The Council (Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council) issued a Work Order in 2022 to Longkiri Terang for the G+2 building at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.50 crore. But +2 was constructed on top of the existing old ground floor building. A Completion Certificate has been obtained without completion.”
