The inspections covered the offices of the Superintendent Engineer of the Public Works Department, the Deputy Inspector of Schools of the District Primary Education Department, and the District Inspector of Schools.

The DC expressed disappointment at the low attendance recorded in these offices.

Sarma criticised the negligence of government staff, stating that such absenteeism is unacceptable, especially when the government ensures all necessary facilities for employees.

He noted that citizens often travel long distances seeking services and should not return empty-handed due to the absence of responsible personnel.
