MARGHERITA, June 5: Noted social worker, renowned athlete, and distinguished sports organiser of Margherita, Indu Ranjan Baruah, popularly known as ‘Abhoy Da’, passed away at a rented house in Margherita on Wednesday morning.
Indu Ranjan Baruah was the former president of Margherita District Sports Association and was a well-known athlete of Assam who has created hundreds of athletes who are now playing at both national and international levels.
