DGP GP Singh  Donates Books

DIPHU: Director general of police (DGP), Assam, GP Singh, IPS, donated useful books for preparation for competitive examinations to Diphu Govt College (DGC). On behalf of the DGP, additional superintendent of police Nayan Jyoti Barman (Crime) handed over the books to the principal, DGC, Tado Terangpi.

A total of 25 books were given to the college.

The principal of DGC said, “The DGP, Assam, GP Singh has donated 25 useful books for those preparing for competitive exams to DGC. On behalf of the DGP, the Additional SP Nayan Jyoti Prasad came to the college yesterday to hand over the books. The books were kept at the college library and those preparing for competitive exams can be used.”

The principal also said in order to appreciate the generosity of the DGP, the college authority has already sent a letter of appreciation to him.
