During the meeting, officials discussed strategies to conduct grassroots-level awareness campaigns and link them with ongoing developmental activities and welfare programmes across the district.

The District Commissioner directed all major line departments to collaborate closely and compile comprehensive data on developmental progress in the district.

She stressed the need to strengthen information dissemination and enhance public enrolment in welfare schemes such as the National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP), PM-KISAN, PM Vishwakarma and Nijut Moina, among others.

The awareness campaign will be conducted over three days beginning June 17 across five development blocks of the district.

The designated venues are Maibang Block Office under Diyung Valley Development Block, Mahur Block Office under Jatinga Valley Development Block, Dihangi Bazar Community Hall under New Sangbar Block, Harangajao Block Office under Harangajao ITD Block and the CDC Office at Hamri under Diyungbra ITD Block.
