Dima Hasao CEM Holds Educative Mission Programme

HAFLONG, May 8: The Council in collaboration with the Education department of Dima Hasao has recently been holding meetings at various places around the district as part of their constant effort to improve the quality of education in LP, ME and high school levels. A similar meeting was held at Hezaichak with the teachers, GBs, parents and guardians of all schools under Laisong, Hangrum and Jinam circle at the schools under Laisong, Hangrum and Jinam circle as a part of the Educative Mission Programme.

North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council CEM Debolal Gorlosa along with executive members for Education and inspector of schools have been holding meetings in different villages with teaching, non-teaching staff, gaonburas, school management committees, parents of students and villagers taking a note of their issues and problems so as to chalk out better implementation of system of education for all irrespective of their economic status.

Through this Educative Mission Programme, the CEM has a direct conversation with the public as well as the school management. The CEM opined that the standard of education for students in government or government aided schools should be at par with those of private institutions so that the future of the district is bright and there can be more opportunities for jobs in future for the youth.
