GUWAHATI, April 30: As part of the 400th birth anniversary celebrations of Veer Lachit Barphukan, the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Government of Assam under the initiative of chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has decided to highlight the work and philosophy of the great hero in national and international platforms through documentary and other media.

In this regard, minister Pijush Hazarika held an initial discussion with commissioner & secretary, Directorate of Information and Public Relations Diganta Bora, director Bishnu Kamal Borah and other department officials at Janata Bhawan on Saturday.
