EM Surjya Rongphar Visits Hamren Civil Hospital, Meets Staff

HAMREN, Aug 24: Executive Member (EM) Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Health & Family Welfare, Surjya Rongphar visited Civil Hospital, Hamren, West Karbi Anglong, and met the doctors and nurses. The EM enquired about the problems and needs of the hospital.

After his visit to the Civil Hospital, the EM also held a review meeting with the officials of Joint Director of Health Services, West Karbi Anglong, doctors and health workers posted in various health centres and hospitals to know about the delivery of health facilities to the general public and other issues.

The review meeting was held at the KAAC Branch Secretariat office. The EM assured the health officials and doctors that he will try his best for the improvement of health facilities in West Karbi Anglong by providing various health schemes and facilities from the government.

Later the EM also visited the under construction 200-bed District Hospital at Hamren.
