MARGHERITA, Dec 18: A technical seminar marking ‘Energy Conservation Day 2024’ was held on Wednesday at Ledo Club in Margherita.
The event was organised by the Institution of Engineers (India) in collaboration with Northeastern Coalfields, Coal India Ltd. in Margherita.

The technical seminar saw the presence of distinguished guests, including K Mere, general manager, NEC Coal India Ltd., Margherita, and MP Dutta (ENM), general manager, NEC Coal India Ltd., Margherita, as chief guests.
The guest of honour was Bhairob Bhuyan who is the chairman of the Institution of Engineers (India), Upper Assam Local Centre, and executive director (Engineering Services), Oil India Limited, Duliajan.
Anil Gautam, secretary of the Institution of Engineers (India), Upper Assam Local Centre, and chief engineer, Field Communication, Oil India Limited, Duliajan, also graced the event.
The seminar was attended by 30 engineers from Oil India Limited, Duliajan in Tinsukia and NEC Coal India Ltd. Margherita.
