Environment Education Programme at Morigaon College

MORIGAON, March 24: A Week for Life Campaign under the Environment Education Programme (EEP) kicked off under the initiative of Assam Science Society, Morigaon supported by Morigaon district administration and Morigaon education department at Morigaon College on Friday.

The week-long programme was formally inaugurated by the deputy commissioner Devashis Sarma in presence of Dr Hemanga Jyoti Sarma, secretary of Assam Science Society Mrinal Kr. Hazarika, principal of Morigaon college Dr Lila Barthakur, Dr Dhananjoy Kushrey, secretary of MASS Nirud Kr.Bora and coordinator of DNA Imdad Ali. Dr Nilufar Jesmin conducted the inauguration  programme. A slogan and poster competition was also organised where leaflets were distributed among the students here.
