Executive Meeting Of BJYM Held At Karbi Anglong District BJP Office

DIPHU, April 10: The first district executive meeting of Bharatiya Janata Morcha (BJYM) of Karbi Anglong district (East) was held here at Karbi Anglong district BJP office near ARTC 1st Gate on Saturday.

While briefing media persons, the president, BJYM of Karbi Anglong District (East), Jiten Bey said the BJYM, Karbi Anglong District has convened its first district executive meeting to discuss organisational matters and to prepare for the coming Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) election.

“In this district executive meeting, we discussed ways to start preparing for the KAAC elections. We want to inform you that in all 26 Member of Autonomous Council (MAC) constituencies the BJP will capture power again in the KAAC. We also discussed how to get the BJYM workers to assist the party in the campaigning during the election.”

Vice president of Assam BJYM and also Probhari for Karbi Anglong, Jun Jyoti Keshap, president of BJP East Karbi Anglong District Committee, Dhansing Teron; Bevastha Pramukh, BJYM, Karbi Anglong district; executive member (EM), Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Khansing Rongpi and other leaders of the party were also present, Bey informed.

Apart from district committee leaders, five representatives from each Mandal Committee were invited in the meeting, he said.
