Final photo electoral rolls published for Rongkhang and Amri constituencies

HAMREN, Feb 10: The District Election Officer of West Karbi Anglong on Tuesday announced the publication of the Final Photo Electoral Roll–2026 for the 111 Rongkhang (ST) and 112 Amri (ST) Legislative Assembly Constituencies.

The rolls, finalised with January 1, 2026 as the qualifying date, were released on February 10 following the completion of the Special Summary Revision exercise.

The publication has been carried out in accordance with a notification issued by the Election Department, Assam, Dispur.

To ensure transparency and easy access, the final electoral rolls have been made available at all polling stations through the respective Booth Level Officers, at the office of the District Election Officer, West Karbi Anglong, Hamren, and on the official website of the Election Commission of India.

Election officials have urged voters of the Rongkhang and Amri constituencies to verify their names and personal details either by visiting their local polling stations or through the online portal.

They stressed that accuracy of voter information is essential for maintaining a transparent and efficient democratic process.

The Special Summary Revision is a routine exercise undertaken to remove discrepancies in electoral rolls, delete names of deceased or shifted voters, and include eligible citizens who attained the age of 18 by the qualifying date.
