KOKRAJHAR, Feb 19: In the recently declared results of the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) combined competitive examination, five candidates from Kokrajhar district of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) have brought laurels with their success.
The successful candidates are Srishti Kashyap (ACS) from Subhashpally in Kokrajhar town, Victor Talukdar (Inspector of Taxes) from Thanapara, Musukha Brahma (BDO) from Bongshigaon, Dotma, Rozinina Parvin (BDO) from Singimari, Fakiragram and Harshajit Basumatary (BDO) from Alupara, Parbatjhora subdivision.
Srishti Kashyap secured the 30th rank in the Assam Civil Service (ACS), bringing pride to Kokrajhar. She is the only daughter of advocate Lakhan Barman and Dulumoni Barman. She completed postgraduate degree in Zoology from Bodoland University in 2024.
Victor Talukdar from Thana Para secured the 24th rank in the Inspector of Taxes examination, bringing recognition to the district. The eldest son of Amal Talukdar, he achieved success after receiving coaching under the Bodofa Super Fifty Mission run by the BTC government.
Rozinina Parvin, daughter of Ajibur Rahman and Aslima Khatun from Singimari, Fakiragram, secured the 1st position in the BDO category, bringing pride to the region. Similarly, Musukha Brahma from Bongshigaon, Dotma, son of Mankeshwar Brahma and Reimoti Brahma, also earned honours through his success in the APSC examination.
From the remote village of Alupara under Parbatjhora subdivision, Harshajit Basumatary excelled in the examination to become a BDO, bringing joy to his parents Ananta Basumatary and Anjana Basumatary, as well as the entire village.
