Formation of new committee for NDHA

MORIGAON, June 19:
 In an effort to enhance the development of handball in the region, the Nagaon District Handball Association (NDHA) held its annual general meeting at the conference hall of Kapili block in Morigaon. Following the directives of the Assam Olympic Association, the new district committee of NDHA was formed during the meeting. As part of this development, the Kaliabor Handball Association (KHA) was dissolved with the consent of its president and secretary in the presence of Debajit Bora, the joint secretary of the Assam Handball Association (AHA). The KHA has now merged with the Nagaon district committee.
Under the leadership of VP Gubinda Dekaraja, a meeting was conducted to establish the new committee of NDHA. Sudhanya Kr Senapati, the general secretary of NDHA, presided over the meeting. The newly formed committee includes the members from KHA as well. Gubinda Dekaraja assumed the position of president, while Sudhanya Kr Senapati retained his post as the secretary of NDHA. Kusum Deka was proposed as the working president, and Chandra Sekhar Gogoi’s name was put forward as the chief coach of NDHA. Additionally, Migan Deuraja was proposed as the accountant of NDHA, further strengthening the administrative team.
