Former DIPRO Rijendra Brahma Choudhury passes away

KOKRAJHAR, Aug 9: Retired District Information and Public Relations Officer (DIPRO) and Habrubil resident of Gossaigaon town, Rijendra Brahma Choudhury, passed away late Friday night.

According to family sources, he suffered a pressure stroke at his residence and was rushed to RNB Civil Hospital, Gossaigaon, where doctors declared him brought dead. He was 63.

Choudhury was a dedicated officer who served as DIPRO in various districts under the Department of Information and Public Relations, Government of Assam.

He retired from service three years ago.

Friends, colleagues and well-wishers from various circles have expressed deep sorrow at his demise, extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
