Additional RPF and GRP personnel have been deployed in shifts, and queue management with barricades and rope lines has been implemented.
Drones and Segway scooters are also being used for enhanced security.
To meet the heightened demand, NFR has introduced 620 special train trips, improving connectivity to major cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, and Kolkata. Shrivastava emphasised continued vigilance and teamwork to ensure safe and comfortable travel for passengers during the festive period.
