GUWAHATI, Sept 15: The BSF Guwahati is set to organise a ‘Pension Adalat’ on September 20, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Frontier Headquarters BSF in Patgaon, Guwahati. This initiative aims to provide speedy resolution to grievances of BSF pensioners and family pensioners residing in the states of Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Arunachal Pradesh. All pending issues related to pensions will be addressed expeditiously, and steps will be taken to resolve their problems.
Similar Pension Adalats are also being conducted at Frontier Headquarters BSF in Jammu and Punjab. These courts are supervised by account officers from the Pension Revision Cell, Pay and Account Division (PAD), as well as senior officials from various branches of the BSF. Representatives from pension disbursing branches of banks will also participate in the Pension Adalat.
The BSF is dedicated to coordinating necessary schemes for the welfare of its members and retirees. Through these schemes, both serving and retired BSF personnel are made aware of various welfare programs, and any problems or grievances they may have are addressed on the spot.
